People love digital camera, it's amazing, but when you want to share photos with your friends, it's not.
InfocuSoft Photo Share is just for digital photo sharing. What you need to do is just run it, add a folder of photos in it, tell your friend the access key, start sharing, that's all.
when your friend try to access your photos, they will get miniatures of every photo, it's small so it's fast. Then they just select the ones they want to have, then with one click, all the selected photos will be download automatically.
It's good for photo viewing too, you can browse them as thumbnails, miniatures and photos.
Alice, Bob and Charlie went a trip together, Alice brought a digital camera with her. They took lots of photos, How can Bob and Charlie get the photos when they came back? There are several ways:
A) Email: It's hard to send several hundreds of Megabytes photos through email. So Bob and Charlie can only get few of them. It's Alice's job to pick up which photos to send, so Bob and Charlie may not get the ones they want.
B) Photo album web service: Even if the service give users enough space, it's still a time consuming work to upload all the photos. To Bob and Charlie, they have to browse the pages, download each one they want, hard work too. And because they are in the same College, why should they spend so much time on transferring files to/from the Internet?
C) Record to CD/DVD
There is no space limitation, but Alice need some time on it(think of twenty persons in the trip). And Bob and Charlie can not see the photos until they meet Alice again.
D) Personal web site
It's great to Alice(if she knows how to do it), and the traffic can be local. To Bob and Charlie, they still need to browse the pages and download each photo.
Let's see what heppened if they use our InfocuSoft PhotoShare:
Alice:
- Transfer photos from digital camera to her computer.
- Start our software, click the 'Add photo folder' icon, select the folder of photos.
- Right click the added list, select the 'View access key' menu.
- In the popup dialog, click the 'Send' button to send a email invitation of the added list to Bob and Charlie.
- click the 'Start share' icon.
Bob and Charlie:
- Start our software, click the 'Download' icon.
- In the popup dialog, Input the Address and Key from the email invitation sent by Alice.
- Make connection, download the miniatures of every photo. Cause it's small, it's fast.
- View the miniatures, select the ones he/she wants to have.
- Download them automatically.
That's All. No matter how many persons want the photos, Alice's job is to keep her computer online. She doesn't need to make choices of who will have which photo, just share all of them. What Bob and Charlie need to do is to view all the photos and make a selection, that's exactly what they want. They can use the fast network between them, they can see the photos as soon as Alice start share them, they can have every photo they want, waste no time on the ones they don't like.
